Barrier system is crash tested according to American testing standard NCHRPr 350.
Boom is available with both vertical and horizontal movement. Installation location with limited space for Barrier body / counterweight recommended version with reverse Boom weight . The systems are well suited to be operated from a Traffic Central or equivalent to close eg entrance to the tunnel , access to opening bridge or entry into protected area or equivalent.

The crash -absorbing system of this type is not supported in the standard family EN 1317 ” Road equipment – devices for vehicles .” Therefore, there is no similar systems tested under any European or national standard.
